I
only had a few minutes to stop the car, set up the camera, and snap
the shutter five times before the storm was on me. The rain that fell
was hard and heavy. The time that passed between stopping the car, getting
the pictures, and getting my camera out of the rain was about three
minutes. When I was back in the car listening to the rain, and seeing
only a watercolor blur
of a scene just a memory, I hoped I had captured it. When I got the
film back, and saw how all the subtle reds, blues, and shapes in the
clouds had rendered
so clearly, it was a great feeling. The
storm
visibly was true to it's physical nature. Big and impressive!
