Most people that travel Italy move from Florence to Venice with barely
a stop in between. That's good. Bologna sits between the two cities,
and is wonderfully unspoiled by mobs of tourists. The diagonal shadow
is one of the beautiful, walkable streets that radiate out from the
town center.
